Para matigil na ang intriga! Roque to advice Duterte to release medical bulletin

If he remains as spokesperson next week, Harry Roque Jr. said he will ask the President to issue a medical bulletin to shed light on the chief executive’s health status.
This, after President Rodrigo Duterte admitted in a speech before alumni of the Philippine Military Academy on Thursday that he went to Cardinal Santos Medical Center to undergo tests.
“As I said, beyond what he has said, he is entitled to privacy in this matter. I don’t know – if I am still here next week, then I will tell perhaps we need to issue a medical bulletin, whether or not, it’s serious,” Roque said on Friday.
Duterte’s physician, he also said, should be invited to the press briefing “because it’s the only way to stop all talk about (his) health.”
The Palace official believes the truth about the President’s state of health is a “serious concern.”
“It is a serious concern and we hope it is because the nation is concerned. But as I assure you, as a lawyer, he knows what the Constitution says. If it’s a serious illness, he will inform the nation,” Roque said.
During his speech, Duterte admitted undergoing endoscopy and colonoscopy three weeks ago, but was advised to repeat the tests.
His recent medical procedures had to do with Barret’s esophagus, a gastrointestinal disorder, the chief executive said.
