Patay-malisya ! Duterte ain’t jumping into the Senate squabble
Despite allegations that the ouster of his arch-enemy Sen. Leila de Lima had the imprimatur of Malacanang, President Duterte said on Monday night that he is leaving it up to Congress to conduct their own investigation.
Obviously informed about the coup by his senator-allies against de Lima, who was ousted as chairperson of the Senate committee on justice and human rights, Duterte said he will not be sidelined by any show or other hearings about extra judicial killings.
“Congress, bahala na sila magkagulo .. I will stick to my own agenda,” he said at a gathering of the Davao blast victims on Monday evening. “Congress, they have their own show. Go ahead be my guest,” Duterte said.
