Picture picture! Robredo visits Berlin monuments with allies
(UPDATED) Vice President Leni Robredo has some picture perfect photos while traveling Berlin, Germany this week.
Robredo and her politiko allies soaked up the sights of Berlin, including visiting the popular monuments such as the Reichstag parliament building as well as famous Brandenburg Gate.
Joining the veep in Germany were Senator Francis Pangilinan, Marikina Rep. Miro Quimbo, Ifugao Rep. Teddy Baguilat Jr., Dinagat Islands Rep. Kaka Bag-ao, and former Budget Secretary Butch Abad.
“Street Art in Berlin is ❤️ Was there for work but found some time to do graffiti stalking. The remnants of the Berlin Wall has probably become the world’s biggest outdoor art gallery,” Robredo wrote on Facebook.
Robredo’s visit to Germany is part of the European tour aimed at finding ways to promote social justice and fight poverty in the country.
“The Vice President, along with the Philippine Delegation, met with members of the German government, and Civil Society Organizations for a series of discussions on various aspects of governance, aimed at finding sustainable solutions to poverty elimination and social justice in Berlin, Germany,” a Facebook post of the Vice President read.
“The visit was hosted by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF) and aims to give leaders in developing countries an opportunity to dialogue and learn from experiences of officials, and key figures from other countries such Germany,” it added.
