How to be you po? Duterte explains why he’s leading in Time Magazine’s poll
President Duterte said on Friday that he does not deserve to be on the Time Magazone’s list of most influential people in the world because all he did was to engage other leaders in a word war for dissing his drug war,
” So most influential, wala naman akong ma-influence. Hindi ko nga naimpluwensya ‘yang Secretary of Justice ko. I do not influence people. Sabi nila number 1 na daw ako. Anong sikreto? P***hin mo lang. P**** i** ninyong lahat,” he said.
Duterte bragged about how he got worldwide attention after he assumed office last year by fighting back against those who have been trying to stop him in his drug war, calling his critics “idiots” and “insane.”
Instead of portraying oneself to be a statesman, Duterte said he merely adopted a persona which was not different from the one since he was mayor of Davao.
Duterte said he could not even sway Justice Sec. Vitalliano Aguirre on his department’s resolution on former CIDG official, Col. Melvin Marcos and his men who were involved in the rub out of Albuera, Leyte Mayor Ronald dela Rosa.
Since he assumed office, Duterte has smeared former US president Barrack Obama, former United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, UN special rapporteur Agnes Callamard and the European Union. At the height of the presidential campaign, Duterte also cursed Pope Francis for causing traffic jams when he visited Manila a few years ago.
