Retired but still working: Find out Tony La Viña’s next mission after leaving Ateneo
Former Ateneo School of Government Tony La Viña has opted to retire early to teach law.
La Viña called legal education his “next mission” in his December 30 column for the Manila Standard.
He said he wants to focus on the youth because they are the country’s future.
“The events of the last two years, here and worldwide, have convinced me that much work has to be done to build a just society and training a new generation of lawyers to do that work is my personal priority,” La Viña said.
The renowned abogado teaches law subjects at, among other schools, the Ateneo Law School and University of the Philippines.
