A daughter of Vice President Leni Robredo visited an evacuation center in Lanao to provide relief assistance to families displaced by the Marawi war.

“Tricia Robredo, representing her mother, VP Leni, visited the Maahad Abdel Azis Evacuation Center in Balo-i, Lanao del Norte,” a Facebook post by the Vice President read.

“She met with 216 families displaced by the fighting in Marawi, and listened to the stories of mothers and children who are struggling to start anew,” it added.

Tricia, a medical student, also distributed over five units of water filters from UP-PGH and the Physicians of Peace through the Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation arm of #AngatBuhay during the Lanao visit.
