Rody a monster? Duterte to critics: Maghanap kayo ng korte para sa monster!
President Rodrigo Duterte has dared his critics to find a court that will try monsters if that is what they think of him.
Duterte lashed out anew at his critics and human rights activists critical of the administration’s war on drugs in a speech before the Filipino community in Papua New Guinea Friday (November 16).
“Sabi man nila, ‘That Duterte is not a human right — ah he is not human. He is a monster.’ O hindi ako kasali sa human rights. Maghanap kayo ng korte para sa mga monster. Kayo na rin nagsabi eh,” he said.
Duterte reiterated his resolve to solve the country’s drug problem during his term, saying he cannot allow millions of Filipinos to become addicts.
“Yon ang sabi nila, ‘Bakit pinapatay ni Duterte ‘yang mga mahirap?’ Hoy mga u***, shabu is a commodity for the poor,” he said.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) announced in February that it will start a preliminary examination into the Philippines to determine if it has jurisdiction regarding the crimes allegedly committed by government officials in relation to the war on drugs.
