Rumaket sa AFP! Duterte claims Trillanes’ ma was a Navy supplier

President Rodrigo Duterte has accused the mother of Senator Antonio Trillanes IV of allegedly having supply transactions with the Philippines Navy when the senator and his father were still in active service.
“Ang problema rito kay Trillanes, he is crucifying (Christopher) “Bong” Go for entering business with government. Let’s look at history. Si Trillanes, ‘yung tatay niya, nung nasa serbisyo pa, saka siya nung sundalo na siya, ‘yung nanay niya, (mayroong) transaksyon sa supply sa Navy ang nanay niya,” Duterte said in his one-on-one televised interview with Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo.
The chief executive’s allegations came a day after Trillanes sought a congressional probe into the alleged multi-billion pero public works contracts awarded to Go’s family.
“Ayaw niyo maniwala? Tanungin niyo ‘yung Navy. Kung ganyan ang gusto niyong leader, go to Trillanes. Is that a kind of leader na gusto ninyo? Sumampa na kayo roon,” he said.
The President also accused Trillanes of alleged corruption and living a lavish lifestyle.
“Ang una talaga is the lifestyle. Hindi makaintay. Kapitan pa then suddenly you have a big house in subdivision, three cars, like Trillanes. Maraming bahay tapos sikreto lang,” Duterte said.
