Sanay na! Nothing to lose if Duterte insults me at SONA – Robredo
Vice President Leni Robredo is unfazed by the possibility to being the target of insults at this year’s State of the Nation Address.
Recently hit by President Rodrigo Duterte for “incompetence,” the Vice President said she has nothing to lose if he attempts to embarrass during his speech.
“Mag-a-attend ako kahit ‘yong iba ayaw akong pa-attendin,” she said in a press conference in Naga City on Friday (July 20, 2018).
Duterte recently said he does not believe Robredo is qualified to be president due to her “incompetence.” The remark came on the same day that headlines declared that the Vice President was ready to stand as the leader of the opposition.
In response, Robredo told Duterte that he should first focus on the economy instead of insulting her and God.
