Sarap ng buhay niyo! Duterte tells Pinoys to be proud of working in Israel

Ending his historic trip to Israel Wednesday, President Rodrigo Duterte urged Filipinos in the Holy Land to reciprocate the hospitality of the Israeli government.
“I’ve heard that you are treated the best here. That is something which we should be proud of, that we are almost a special class of people to the State of Israel,” Duterte told overseas Filipino workers who waited for him outside the Open Doors Monument.
The chief executive visited the monument honoring the act of Filipino hospitality for the Jews during the Holocaust.
The Philippines was one of the few countries that welcomed Jewish refugees after World War II and was the only Asian country to vote for the establishment of the State of Israel.
Duterte also advised the 40,000 Filipinos in Israel to follow the laws of their host countries.
“Now, the only thing that I can advise you is that you are here as guests and you follow the rules and avoid [trouble],” he said.
The President is currently in Jordan until September 8.
