Putin loves to have vacations in this country
Russian President Vladimir Putin recalled having vacations in Turkey even as he expressed confidence that the Turkish government will do what it can for the safety of Russian visitors.
According to him, many Russians who went on a vacation in Turkey found the country’s environment friendly.
“We know this. I myself spent vacations in Turkey more than once before I took up job here in the Kremlin and I cherish very warm and good impressions from that experience,” TASS Russian News Agency quoted Putin as saying on Friday.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited Moscow on Friday.
Erdogan made the visit at Putin’s invitation to discuss projects and the two countries’ further cooperation in combating terrorism, according to another TASS Russian News Agency article published online on March 10 (Friday) which cited the Kremlin press service.
