Sharon unhappy with Kiko? ‘There are times na gusto mong iwan, patayin’
Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan may be married for over two decades, but their relationship is by no means perfect.
In an interview aired on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” Friday (June 2), Cuneta said, tongue in cheek, that there were times that she wanted to leave her husband.
“There are times na gusto mong iwan. There are times na gusto mong patayin. Ganoon lang naman. lahat ng mag-asawa. I’m just being frank and honest,” she said.
Cuneta, however, made it clear that Pangilinan was “a very good man.”
“That’s why I married him. It’s just that we didn’t grow up in the same household, with the same parents. Of course, we are two different people,” she said.
There has been speculation that Cuneta’s marriage was on the rocks since she left for the United States alone in May. She also posted a series of cryptic messages on Instagram on how she was already tired.
Adding fuel to the rumor was a photo of Pangilinan reportedly holding hands with Senator Risa Hontiveros. However, it has been dismissed by Cuneta as fake.
Reacting to her photo in which she captioned that her children were the only “people she would give her life for,” Cuneta said: “Kasi pinanganak ko iyong mga iyon at iyong isa ay inampon ko at sinumpa ko na maging nanay. Hindi ko naman pinagbuntis si Kiko.”
