After signing bank waiver, Trillanes says it’s Duterte’s turn: Wala yang baril mo, magpakalalaki ka
Senator Sonny Trillanes on Monday said President Rodrigo Duterte’s “sidearm” gun would not protect him from corrupt charges hounding him.
Trillanes said that after he signed a bank waiver on his alleged “offshore bank accounts”, it was the President’s turn to man up and sign the bank waiver to open Duterte’s accounts
“Dinala mo itong away dito sa teritoryo ko e. Di ka p’wede tumindig sa akin dito. Ngayon inaabangan ko itong waiver mo. Magpakalalaki ka. Di ka mapo-proteksyunan nitong baril mo sa tagiliran,” Trillanes said.
During the celebration of the 17th founding anniversary of Digos, Davao del Sur on Sept. 8, Duterte said he carried an “unlicensed” gun that just to be sure that he was ready in case he engages in a duel with Trillanes.
Trillanes on Monday signed 12 waivers for his alleged 12 hidden “offshore” accounts in Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, and Switzerland. He said these bank accounts were “manufactured.”
“Nung isang linggo nagparatang akin itong si President Duterte na meron daw akong ilang foreign hidden foreign bank accounts. Ito ay pinabubulaanan ko. Hindi po ‘yan totoo at ni isang offshore bank account, wala ako,” he said in a briefing.
He added, “So dito natin maipapakita na itong si Duterte napaka sinungaling na tao at ginagamit ang kapangyarihan ng gobyerno para manira ng miyembro ng oposisyon. Well, nagkakamali ka. This is the biggest blunder na ginawa na ito ni Duterte.”
