Sumusunod lang sa boss! Trillanes: Calida refusing to disclose drug killings’ details on Duterte’s orders
Senator Sonny Trillanes believes that it was President Rodrigo Duterte who prevented the Phil. National Police (PNP) from submitting its investigation report on the 4,000 drug suspects killed in the war on drugs.
Citing national security issue, Solicitor General Jose Calida has asked the Supreme Court to recall its order for the PNP to submit the case folders of the drug personalities killed during anti-drug operations.
“Ang ginagawa nila Calida, nag-pafile sila ng ganuong motion sa Supreme Court parang senyales sa justices na ito ang gusto ni Duterte. Umatras kayo,” Trillanes said on Saturday.
“Kung matatakutin sila aatras ‘yan. Pero kung gagawin nila ang kanilang trabaho hindi nila susundin ‘yan at bibigyan ng contempt ang hindi sumunod sa kanilang order,” he added in a radio interview.
Trillanes said that the PNP cannot provide any investigation report because its Internal Affairs Service (IAS) “deliberately” set aside the cases of policemen involved in the killing of drug personalities.
“Kasi dapat ang IAS mag-iimbestiga. Since utos ito galing sa Presidente mismo na patayin sila so talagang binabalahura nila ang operations. Tapos pikitmata ang IAS. So, walang investigation report,” he said.
