Take that Jóhannesson! Trudeau likes pineapples on his pizza

Feb 26, 2017 @ 9:13

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau finds pineapples on pizza “delicious.”

And he expressed his opinion while making a reference to the viral Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen or PPAP song by Pikotaro, who is portrayed by Japanese comedian Daimaou Kosaka.

“I have a pineapple. I have a pizza. And I stand behind this delicious Southwestern Ontario creation. #TeamPineapple,” Trudeau tweeted on February 25 in response to a question on Twitter.

Canadian Sam Panopoulos is credited with the Hawaiian pizza’s creation, according to a CBC/Radio-Canada report published online on February 21.

Earlier, Iceland’s President Guðni Th. Jóhannesson said that he likes pineapples, just not on pizza.
