Talk to my hand! Palace: Terrorists don’t deserve comment

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque Jr. could not care less what communist rebels have to say against President Rodrigo Duterte.
“Terrorists should not be responded to,” Roque said reacting to the Communist Party of the Philippines’ (CPP) statement that President Duterte abused his executive power by ordering the arrest of Senator Antonio Trillanes IV after he signed Proclamation No. 572 nullifying the amnesty given to the senator by then President Benigno Aquino III in 2010.
The proclamation claimed the former Navy officer did not file an application for amnesty and did not admit his guilt for his role in the 2003 Oakwood mutiny and 2007 Manila Peninsula siege against the Arroyo administration.
“The CCP-NPA (New People’s Army) has been labeled a terrorist group by both the European Union and the United States. They do not deserve any comment from the presidential spokesperson,” Roque said.
