Trillanes blames Duterte for Kadamay takeover of Rizal housing units
Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Wednesday blamed President Duterte for the latest attempt of militant urban poor group to occupy a housing project for soldiers and policemen in Rodriguez, Rizal.
“Nung naging successful sila, ano ginawa ni Duterte? Bago daw matapos ‘yung taon last year ay bibigyan na nya ng mas malaki at mas magandang mga housing units ang mga sundalo. Nangyari ba? Hindi,” he said.
“Basta’t kumonista okay lang kay Mr. Duterte,” Trillanes added.
When the group Kalipunan ng Damayang Mahihirap (Kadamay) trooped to Pandi town and San Jose Del Monte City in Bulacan and occupied a government housing project for the police and military last year, the senator claimed that they’re a front organization of communists.
“Hindi ba itong mga kumunista na ito ay talagang pinasok nila ‘yung mga housing ng mga sundalo at pulis? So ganyan ngayon ‘yung nangyari,” he said.
The senator has been critical of the appointment militant personalities in the Duterte administration who he said have been dictating policies in the government.
