Trillanes to Sara Duterte: Maiba ako, kailan kayo pipirma ng bank waiver?
Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Thursday lashed back at the tirades issued against him by President Duterte’s daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, calling him an opportunist, plastic and ingrate.
Duterte. Iba na ngayon, alam ko na ang katotohanan,” he said.
Trillanes has admitted in the past seeking not only the endorsement but even the approval of Pres. Duterte, when he was still Davao City mayor, in forming a tandem with him in the 2016 presidential and vice presidential elections.
He, however, was told that the then Davao mayor was not going to run for the presidency.
Trillanes said the term opportunist seemed to be more applicable to those surrounding her father and in which she should be more wary about.
Trillanes further asked.
The senator has accused the President and his family members, including Mayor Sara of supposedly keeping secret bank accounts and the transactions could reach an estimated P2.2 billion.
Trillanes has repeatedly challenged the President to execute a bank waiver to allow public scrutiny of his bank accounts and prove him wrong on his allegations but he had only been criticized by Duterte.
