Trillanes says Duterte has mastered ‘art of lying’: Hindi kumukurap, derecho magsinungaling
President Rodrigo Duterte has mastered the “art of lying,” according to his critic, Sen. Sonny Trillanes.
Trillanes made the remark when asked to comment on the President’s “vow” that he would resign if it would be proven that his son, Paolo, currently Davao City vice mayor, was involved in smuggling.
Ilang beses na niyang sinabi ‘yan,” he said in a radio interview.
The senator said that the President also told the nation during his first few weeks in power that he would resign if he failed to stop drugs, corruption, and criminality within three to six months.
Di kumukurap mata niya kaya kapani-paniwala,” the opposition senator said.
Tumakbo rin o,” said Trillanes, who supported the presidential bid of Sen. Grace Poe in the May 2016 national elections.
