After getting SPG-rating, Duterte tells Grace Poe: Tahimik ka lang diyan, di mo ako naiintindihan
President Rodrigo Duterte has criticized Senator Grace Poe for advising him to watch his language since children are also watching him.
In a speech before members of the Joint Special Operation Task Force Trident in Camp Kilala, Marawi City Friday (August 4), Duterte said Poe should focus on her statements instead of his.
“You take care of your mouth, and I will take care of mine because my mouth is not for your mouth,” he said.
“Tahimik ka lang diyan kasi hindi mo naintindihan from where of I — I stand,” Duterte added.
Poe reminded Duterte to watch his words after the President called his predecessor, Benigno Aquino III, “gago” (idiot) for saying there appears to be little progress with regard to the administration’s war on drugs.
“Basta alam na niya anong tama o mali so paalala lang, SPG,” Poe said.
SPG refers to Strong Parental Guidance, which the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board uses as a classification for programs with themes of sex, horror, violence, drugs and curse words.
Poe ran but lost to Duterte in the 2016 presidential elections.
