Praning! Aguirre zaps gambling lord Atong Ang’s phantom death threats
Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II on Friday (April 28) said that there is no truth to the accusation he wanted gambling operator Charlie “Atong” Ang killed.
Aguirre gave his assurance after being accused by Ang himself.
“I categorically deny all the accusations of Atong Ang for being complete fabrications,” said the Secretary in his statement.
According to reports, Ang named Aguirre as one of four persons who wanted him dead. The others include National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon and some members of Philippine Military Academy Class (PMA) ’82.
Ang said that he was informed about Aguirre’s plans by members of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), who told him that the Secretary wants him and his gambling operations removed.
He claimed that Aguirre is even trying to utilize the NBI in liquidating him.
