Walang atrasan! Trillanes to file libel case vs Mocha Uson
Whether or not Communications Asst. Sec. Mocha Uson will remain in Malacanang amid the libel case against her, Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV couldn’t care less.
“I would file the libel case anyway,” the senator said Wednesday, responding to Uson’s pronouncements in her video posted in her Facebook account that she will resign from her post if the lawmaker will win in his libel case against her.
Uson also challenged Trilanes to resign in the event that he fails in his legal action against her.
Trillanes said he’s fully aware that Justice Sec. Vitaliano Aguirre II’s minions at the DOJ would eventually exonerate her, he’s bent on pursuing the case in the interest of justice.
“I really couldn’t care less whether she resigns or not,” he said.
The senator, last Monday, announced that he would be filing libel charges Uson and radio commentator Erwin Tulfo and a CNN correspondent who is alleged to be behind Davao Breaking News website supposedly peddling “fake news” against him concerning his purported secret bank deposits.
“Kakasuhan ko sila ng libl. Hindi na pupwede ‘yung fake news. The era of fake news is over. Itong Duterte administration nanalo kayo dahil sa fake news pero ngayon, hindi na pupwede ‘yan. Hahabulin at hahabulin ko kayo everytime (you come up with fake news),” Trillanes was quoted saying Monday.
