Walang forever! Tito Sotto to replace Koko as Senate President
Senate Majority Leader Vicente “Tito” Sotto III may soon head the chamber if the deal with Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel pushes through.
Politiko has learned that Pimentel and Sotto have agreed to share terms as Senate President.
If the agreement goes on as planned, Sotto will be elected Senate President by his peers in March.
Pimentel may get Sotto’s current post.
Aside from being Senate President, Pimentel is also the president of the ruling Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban).
