Werpa! Ateneo seals out of this world partnership with NASA
Ateneo de Manila University just sealed an out of this world partnership.
University president Fr. Jose Villarin has announced that ADMU will be working with scientists from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in the summer of 2018.
In a Facebook post, Villarin said Ateneans will be studying weather-related matters together with the scientists from NASA.
He called ADMU’s latest foreign partners “some of the biggest unknowns in climate science.”
‘I hope more young people can get on board,” Villarin said.
The Manila Observatory, the oldest weather research bureau in the country, is located within ADMU’s premises.
