What’s wrong with PNoy campaigning for Mar?

Malacañang insisted Tuesday that there was nothing wrong if President Benigno Aquino III campaigns for his best pal and standard bearer of the Liberal Party (LP) — Interior Secretary Manuel Roxas II.

Presidential Communications Secretary Herminio Coloma said Aquino is not the first president to campaign for a political candidate.

Coloma likewise denied that government funds were used for the LP event in Greenhills, San Juan, attended by some 1,200 politikos.

President Aquino showed up at the event although it was not included in his schedule.

Among the politikos present were two rumored possible running mate of Roxas – Batangas Governor Vilma Santos and Camariner Sur Rep. Leni Robredo.

President Aquino earlier said that he would actively campaign for Roxas in the coming 2016 elections.
