Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV is sharing a survival guide of sorts against the coronavirus infection.

The former lawmaker posted on Facebook the list of medicines, vitamins and supplements that helped him fight the infection last year. The survival tips have been shared as the country’s cases of coronavirus disease continued to soar at an alarming rate.

Trillanes tested positive for the coronavirus in August 2020 and recovered from the virus a few weeks later.

In his latest Facebook post, he first shared four tips that helped addressed the COVID-19 symptoms.

“Sa may mga kakilala o kamag-anak na may COVID, sana po ay makatulong itong video na ‘to. Ito po ang mga tinake ko na supplements/gamot as advised by my doctor,” he said.

“To address the symptoms:

  1. Paracetamol/Acetaminophen
  2. Lianhua Qingwen
  3. Azithromycin (needs doctor’s prescription)
  4. Betadine gargle or gargle warm water with salt.”

To help boost the immune system, Trillanes identified eight things that helped him.

These are the following:

  1. Zinc
  2. Vitamin C
  3. Vitamin D
  4. Melatonin
  5. Turmeric Tea
  6. Laurin oil (VCO)
  7. Gatorade/Pocari Sweat/Buko juice
  8. Water with lemon
