The bible of Philippine politics

MANILA, Philippines – The ruling Liberal Party (LP), says its president on leave Manuel Roxas II, is united. So much so that the members – including him – will support whomever President Benigno Aquino III will endorse come election time, whether its Roxas or somebody else.   Rappler

” Matibay ang pagkakaisa namin sa LP, at kasama ako dito, na susuporta at maninindigan sa kandidato ni PNoy sa 2016, ako man iyon o hindi,” The party’s presumptive standard bearer for 2016, however, is quick to indicate that, so far, Aquino’s choice can’t possibly be Vice President Jejomar Binay. The LP earlier said it is open to coalitions, but presented a long list of criteria that appears to disqualify the Vice President and UNA.

(This is not a matter of Mar or Jojo for 2016. The most important thing is the strengthening and continuation of the “The Righteous Path.”) Rappler
