Brilliant move. Former Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan is running for senator in next year’s elections with fewer campaign expenses.
Pangilinan decided to post on Facebook his old political advertisements with his wife actress Sharon Cuneta and his children as endorsers.
“I realized the other day that while I was actively involved in the elections of 2010 and 2013, the last time I was a candidate was 9 years (!) ago or 2007. For #ThrowbackThursday I am uploading some of our campaign ads then. Ang bilis ng panahon!” the former presidential assistant on food security said in a recent Facebook post.
The first 30-second 2007 political ad started with the question “Bakit si Kiko?” with Sharon affirming the senator’s good family values, advocacy for human rights protection, and honest public service.
The second 30-second spot featured Pangilinan’s adorable young daughters, Frankie and Miel.
“In this tv ad, Frankie just turned six and Miel was just two. Now they are 14 and 11. Why do they grow up so fast?” – Kiko Pangilinan #ThrowbackThursday #Pangilinan2016,” Pangilinan added.
