If there’s anything that “noob” politiko Senator Grace Poe made clear to her presidential race rival Mar Roxas on Sunday (February 21), it’s that she’s not the gullible type.
“Alam ko naman kung binobola ako o hindi kahit na maikli ang aking panunungkulan sa gobyerno,” independent bet Poe said during her face off with Roxas in the presidential debate in Cagayan de Oro.
Before that, the Liberal Party (LP) candidate was picking on Poe’s inexperience as a leader, saying that it’s a crucial factor in choosing the country’s next president.
Kinabukasan, buhay, kaunlaran ng 100 million Pilipino ang nakasalalay dito,” said Roxas, who is a former Interior and Transportation secretary.
Poe, for her part, highlighted her experience as a mother, teacher and Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) chairperson in being in touch with the needs of Filipinos.
The rookie politiko also seized the opportunity to chide Roxas in her counter-rebuttal–a veteran move if you think about it.
Roxas used to head those agencies.
