Grace Poe gives coronavirus testing kits to Metro Manila barangays

Senator Grace Poe has launched another relief operations this time distributing rapid testing kits for the new coronavirus disease to several barangays in Metro Manila.

The rapid test kits are approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), according to the senator.

“Salamat sa mga taong naging daan upang makapagbigay tayo ng 1000 FDA approved rapid test kits sa iba’t-ibang Barangay Health Centers sa Metro Manila,” she wrote on Instagram.

Poe said the distribution of testing kits would help detect and isolate patients with coronavirus infection.

“Isa itong hakbang tungo sa mabilis na pagtukoy ng mga may Covid-19 sa isang lokalidad upang mapabilis ang contact tracing at maiwasan ang paglaganap pa ng sakit,” he said.
