Legit or counterfeit? Netizens doubt negative result of Marcos Jr’s drug test
“What for? What for? We’ve submitted to the process, we have submitted the result. Pagka… It’s not going to end. Pagka nagsumite ka riyan, tatanungin ka na naman,” he told reporters Wednesday (November 24).
“Hindi ko na kayang paliwanagan yung ayaw ng paliwanag, at hindi ko ho kayang ipaunawa dun sa mga talagang ayaw umunawa,” Rodriguez added.
Rodriguez submitted to PDEA Tuesday (November 23) the results of Marcos’ drug test at the St. Luke’s Medical Center at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, which showed he was negative for cocaine.

Marcos also underwent a separate drug test on November 10 as part of his application for a permit to carry firearms outside his residence. Results showed he was negative for shabu and marijuana.
Some netizens, however, questioned the result of his drug test at St. Luke’s Medical Center since the report did not bear the hospital’s letterhead. The address was also listed as “32nd Street, Ususan, Taguig.”
Rodriguez maintained that the drug tests Marcos took were the “standard” ones and his camp is not in the position to question the procedure.
Marcos Jr passes drug test: ‘I am against illegal drugs’
“Everybody took the same test. So hindi na natin para kwestyunin yung uri ng examination. That’s the standard government test, kaya nga pati sa gun license ni Bongbong Marcos isinumite na namin eh. So kung sinasabi nilang hindi tamang proseso eh sabihin nila sa PNP (Philippine National Police), baguhin yung proseso,” he said.
Senators Panfilo Lacson and Vicente Sotto III, who are running together for president and vice president, respectively, have undergone drug tests at PDEA. Both yielded negative results.
Senator Manny Pacquiao has also expressed readiness to undergo drug testing at PDEA in the absence of a local facility that can test hair follicles for the presence of illegal drugs.
