UniTeam senatorial candidate and former Public Works Secretary Mark Villar said presidential aspirant Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and vice presidential candidate Sara Duterte have captivated Las Piñas during their visit last Sunday.
Villar said huge crowds gathered in the streets to get a glimpse of the UniTeam caravan and the grand rally.
“Kanina sa caravan, grabe, ewan ko lang kung nakita niyo, pero parang wala nang Las Piñero na naiwan sa bahay. Lahat po ng ating mga kapwa Las Piñero nasa kalsada na kanina, kaya di na ata ko kailangan mag-speech,” Villar said.
The motorcade around Las Piñas was supposed to take just an hour but due to the huge crowd in the streets, it lasted for four hours.
Basing his conclusion on the huge crowd, Villar told those gathered in UniTeam rally in The tent in Global South, Las Piñas City: “Mukhang tapos na ang eleksyon”
Villar said the future of the well-received Build, Build, Build program will be continued under the Marcos-Duterte leadership.
“Wag naman sana mawala ang Build, Build, Build program natin, pero alam ko naman hindi na kailangan sabihin dahil tayo po dito alam naman natin tayo ay isang pamilya. Para hindi mawala yung Build, Build, Build natin, kailangan suportahan natin lahat po ng UniTeam, lalo na po si Bongbong Marcos at Sara Duterte,” Villar added.
The grand rally in the city was hosted by Mayor Imelda Aguilar, Vice Mayor April Aguilar, Rep. Camille Villar, Sen. Cynthia Villar, and former Senate President Manny Villar, chairperson of the Nacionalista Party (NP).
Marcos and Duterte expressed their deep gratitude to the officials for the warm welcome received by the UniTeam.
