Senator Cynthia Villar is trending on social media over a viral video showing her shouting at people who refused to remove a barrier inside a private subdivision in Las Piñas City.
The undated video showed Villar, clad in a white blouse and purple skirt, raising her voice at a security guard who appeared reluctant to move the barrier placed along a private road.
The incident reportedly happened inside BF Resort Village.
“Tanggalin mo! Tanggalin mo!” Villar said as she walked towards the security guard.
“Umalis ka dyan! Tanggalin mo!” the senator added as her hand touched the guard’s arm.
At that point, a man standing nearby appealed to the wife of the Philippines’ richest man, Manny Villar not to hurt the security guard. His remark incensed the senator.
“Hindi ko sinasaktan ang guard mo. Umalis ka rito!” she fumed. “Bakit, kaya ko bang saktan ‘yan? Ano ‘yan, bakla?”
Villar then went beyond the barrier and walked back and forth as two policemen watched indifferently.
“Ako nagtanggal ng lahat ng squatter dito. Hindi ko nga ito napakinabangan eh, ngayon ikaw na ang nakikinabang,” she said at an unidentified person.
Villar also told accused a person of using security guards as his own private army.
“Ginagawa mong private army ang security. Bakit tinatakot mo kami? Hindi ako natatakot sa iyo!” she said.
Villar again dropped the slur when the man in blue shirt told her not to hurt his security personnel.
“Hindi ko yan sasaktan! Ano yan mga bakla? Ba’t ko yan sasaktan? Babae ako!” she said.
