The Garcia family had special house guests over the weekend.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos reunited with Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia and her family while on a recent visit to Cebu province.
The First Couple paid a visit to Garcia’s residence where they received a warm welcome from the family.
Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco and husband Cebu 5th District Rep. Duke Frasco alongside their children were also present to welcome and catch up with the Marcoses. The visit of the presidential couple coincided with the birthday celebration of X, the youngest son of the Frascos.
In an Instagram post, Rep. Duke thanked the Marcoses for the momentous visit, expressing appreciation for the love as well as birthday wishes for X.
“Thank you for the love and for stopping by and wishing X a happy birthday, President @bongbongmarcos and FL Atty. @lizamarcos ❤️,” he said.
“Gov @gwengarcia12 @christinafrasco and I are always honored to have you back in Cebu and in our home. ❤️,” he added.
Frasco’s social media post included snapshots of the visit of the First Couple to the Garcia residence. The special guests from Manila were treated to a feast of lechon and other sumptuous Cebu dishes.
On Saturday, the First Couple visited Cebu to lead the inauguration of the National Museum in Cebu City. The museum, located at the Aduana building, features a collection of artwork and other treasures highlighting Cebu’s rich history and culture.
The museum’s doors will be partially opened to the public starting August 1, and the admission is absolutely free.
