Political analyst Ronald Llamas took aim at the behavior of Vice President Sara Duterte in a recent interview on “PolitiSkoop” hosted by Michael Fajatin and Ina Andolong.
Llamas drew attention to her actions, suggesting they may not always have the desired effect in the political arena. He noticed the Vice President’s apparent “unbecoming” behavior appears to be a page ripped from her father former President Rodrigo Duterte’s playbook.
“Medyo unbecoming for Vice President yung ganyang mga actuations pero yung political capital kasi ni Vice President Sara talagang based on being unbecoming,” he added.
Llamas highlighted a past incident where VP Sara, then a mayor of Davao City, reportedly threw a punch at a sheriff while her father was notorious for his vulgar remarks.
“Sinusundan niya yung track ng kanyang tatay na being unbecoming is a strategy. Yung tatay niya nung presidente nagmumura nang nagmumura di ba? Pati [Santo] Papa minumura. Lahat minura,” he said.
However, Llamas cautioned that the strategy may not always work in her favor.
Llamas further pointed out the potential risks for VP Sara in aligning too closely with her father’s style.
As the interview wrapped up, Llamas suggested that VP Sara’s verbal tussle with Senator Risa Hontiveros might come back to haunt her.
Tinatamaan siya negatively,” he said.
