House Deputy Majority Leader and Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos expressed gratitude to Camarines Sur warmly welcoming his father, President Ferdinand Marcos, during the launch of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF).
In an interview during the launch of BPSF in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, the younger Marcos was asked about the warm welcome his father received in Camarines Sur, considered a bailiwick of former Vice President Leni Robredo.
“Kami’y nagpapasalamat sa ‘ting mga kasama sa Bicol. Love for all,” the lawmaker said.
Rep. Marcos also thanked those who helped organize the event.
“Nagpapasalamat kami sa lahat ng mga nag-organize. Alam ko ang aking team sa district office mga isang linggo na hindi nakatulog dahil sa stress pero all worth it naman. Nakikita mo sa daming taong nagpakita,” Rep. Marcos said.
The BPSF was simultaneously launched last Saturday in Camarines Sur, Ilocos Norte, Leyte, and Davao de Oro.
“Once again, I’d like to thank everyone involved, my district office, ang district ni Speaker Romualdez, lahat ng iba’t ibang ahensya,” Rep. Marcos said.
“Alam ko napakalaking bagay to, sa mga araw na papunta o towards the build-up to today, stressed na stressed sila pero nakikita ko sa mga ngiti nila na medyo worth it,” he added.
