3 courts in Laguna, Quezon closed due to COVID-19 infections
The Supreme Court (SC) said on Tuesday (Aug. 11) that three courts have been placed on lockdown after their employees were tested positive with the COVID-19 disease.
In its latest Twitter posts, the SC Public Information Office (SCPIO) said the courts that have been placed on lockdown are Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 55 of Lucena City, Quezon and RTC Branch 169/31 of San Pedro Laguna.
Also closed is Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) Branch 1 in San Pedro.
The SCPIO noted that their respective executive judges have already issued directives regarding the temporary closure.
San Pedro RTC Branch 169/31 will be closed from Aug. 11 to 25 after one of its employees tested positive for COVID-19.
Lucena RTC Branch 59 was also found to have an employee with COVID-19 and will also be closed from Aug. 11 to 25.
While, San Pedro MTCC Branch 1 is closed from Aug. 7 to 21 after an employee and her husband also tested positive for COVID-19.
