Former Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) chief Aaron Aquino has been appointed as head of the Clark International Airport Corporation.
This was confirmed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea Wednesday.
Aquino was earlier relieved of his post as director general of the anti-narcotics agency for more than two years.
He served as Regional Commander of Region III prior to his appointment at PDEA.
In a statement, Malacañang expressed gratitude for Aquino’s “immense contribution” to the government’s anti-drugs campaign.
