Achieve! 181 BuCor employees graduate from Bantag’s reformation program
Around Almost 200 Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) officials and personnel have finished the reformation program that Director General Gerald Bantag ordered them to take.
“It was Director General Gerald Bantag who initiated this reformation program as part of the internal cleansing of BuCor,” said BuCor spokesman Maj. Alberto Tapiru Jr.
“We are looking forward for more programs and activities to achieve its goal, the rebirth of BuCor,” he added.
Tapiru said 181 BuCor officials and personnel graduated from the program last November 31.
The program covered the anti-graft and corruption laws as well as lectures on servanthood, moral recovery program and civil servant values reformation.
The BuCor officials and personnel underwent the reformation program in response to the various anomalies which have taken place in the national penitentiaries.
