The word war between President Duterte and former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV is still raging.

The President has called Trillanes “ulol” for criticizing his anti-coronavirus effort, and belittled him as mere driver. He also threatened to ask his driver to slap the former rebel soldier.

Following the President’s latest rant, Trillanes is slightly amused by his “lurker” on social media. The senator however still demanded Duterte to present his concrete plan for mass testing and relief distribution during the extended lockdown in Metro Manila and other high-risk places. He also asked about the government’s economic recovery plan after the pandemic.

“May lurker pla ako dito sa Twitter. Hehe. But seriously, where’s d detailed plan up to May 15 & post-ECQ (mass testing, more efficient welfare funds delivery, economic stimulus etc)? ” he tweeted.

Trillanes is also dismayed with Duterte’s latest public address in which he announced the prolonged lockdown measures. He found Duterte’s address lacking of inspiration and effort to allay public concern about the coronavirus pandemic.

“More importantly, where’s d part where he’s supposed to inspire, allay fears & give people hope?” Trillanes asked.
