Enough with the negativity.
Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. has vouched for the efficacy of coronavirus vaccines purchased by the government.
Locsin asked people critical of the vaccines to put the negativity to rest, telling them that vaccines “all work.”
“THEY ALL WORK. So give the negativity a rest,”: he tweeted.
If they don’t believe in the vaccines, people can always reject the drug offered by the government. Locsin said people have a choice to accept or decline the vaccine as part of the country’s democracy.
“Alternative is don’t take it. Free country. That’s a choice you must all make for yourselves,” he said.
More brands of the COVID vaccines are also expected to arrive in the country.
“Eventually all brands widely available,” Locsin said.
The government has bought COVID vaccines developed by China’s Sinovac, AstraZeneca of the United Kingdom and Serum Institute of India. The supplies will be delivered to the Philippines this year to commence the government’s vaccine rollout.
