Ambait ni Mr. President: Duterte brings 3 journalists to hospital after bad fall


He may be a tough guy but the country’s next president Rodrigo Duterte has a big heart.

Duterte recently brought three journalists to the hospital to get treatment after suffering a bad fall in Davao City. The journalists were covering Duterte cast his ballot last May 9 when the accident occurred.

“After voting and meeting the press at the ‪#‎DuterteCayetano‬ Media Center at the Royal Mandaya Hotel last Monday, Duterte learned of the unfortunate incident involving 3 members of the media who fell off the canal while covering him at the crowded DRAHS Polling Center,” Peter Lavina wrote on Facebook.

“The mayor did not waste time. He rushed them asap to the hospital. Pia Ranada of rappler (social media), Richie Tongo (photographer whose photos landed in the front pages of international newspapers including USA Today) and Henry Uri (dzRH broadcaster). Get well quick we have more stories to tell the world,” he added.
