Stay home and away from others as much as possible.

Senator Sonny Angara made the appeal after lockdown restrictions have been eased in Metro Manila and several parts of the country starting June 1.

Angara, who has survived the coronavirus infection, urged people to follow health precautions such as staying indoors, wearing a mask or face covering, and maintaining distance from others. He said people should also work from home if possible.

“Friendly reminder with lifting of some quarantine restrictions to GCQ: pls take precautions! Kung Di naman kelangan lumabas Baka pwedeng stay home or WFH na Lang 😀 otherwise pls wear masks in public places and observe distancing pls 😀 let’s think not just of ourselves but of the community TY 😀🙏🏽🇵🇭” Angara wrote on Facebook.

He said Filipinos should learn from the other nations that suffered a second wave of the coronavirus infections.

“Remember almost every country gets second waves of infections emerging from lockdown . Matuto na po tayo 🙏🏽😃 #GCQ #covid19,” he said.
