A Kapamilya star is endorsing a Kapuso politiko/celebrity for his big heart.
Actress Angel Locsin took to Instagram to declare her support for the re-election of Senator Tito Sotto, sharing the story on how he helped her keep her legs during a health emergency.
“I’m posting this because if it wasn’t for him, I won’t be able to use my legs again,” Angel wrote.
Shortly after she pulled out from the “Darna” project due to a disc bulge in her spine, Angel remembered that Sotto contacted her and dissuaded her from going through a “traditional spine operation” since it was a “very dangerous” process. The senator, instead, referred Angel to neurosurgeon of his wife, Helen Gamboa.
“I was really touched by the gesture. He didnt have to. I know he’s very busy. After Miko, I seldom see him anymore. But he made an effort even without gain or without asking something in return,” Angel said.
“When I went to SG for my check up, the doctor said I was lucky for arriving there just on time before it’s too late. Or else, I will be surely having a crisis this year for I wont be able to use my legs because of my crazy nerves,” said the actress is recovering from a back procedure in Singapore.
Angel’s Instagram note ended with a message: “I’m posting this because if he did not care, I don’t know what will happen to me in the future. He deserves this post and my vote.”
