Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles said he has not yet been tested for coronavirus (Covid-19) because he is asymptomatic.
Tuesday evening, Interior Secretary Eduardo Año announced that he tested positive for Covid-19 following close contact with infected individuals.
“Ako, personally, isolated na po ako, at, this is, I think, Day 6 ng aking isolation. Nagsimula po ang aking isolation at self-quarantine at work from home noong March 26,” Nograles said during a press briefing Wednesday.
“Habang wala pa akong sintomas, hindi muna ako magpapa-test bagama’t hiwalay na po ako at isolated na po ako sa aking household at totally self-quarantine po ako ngayon,” he added.
Meanwhile, Nograles said it’s up to other Cabinet members to get tested for Covid-19.
“Nasa membership ng IATF, pati na rin yung Cabinet secretaries kung magpapa-test sila o hindi. Depende sa kanilang karamdaman,” according to him.
