Ayaw kasi paniwalaan: Bongbong calls Marcos gold rush at UPLB a hoax for nth time
Losing vice presidential bet Bongbong Marcos came out of his weekend rest to tell thousands of people from Luzon who gathered at University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB) Baker Field Saturday to go home because there was no Marcos gold to be distributed.
People from nearby provinces and Metro Manila converged at UPLB Saturday morning carrying booklets of “The Life and Achievements of Ferdinand E. Marco” printed by “Bullion Buyer LTD” with the hope of either getting cash from the fabled gold bars of Marcos or a lifetime monthly stipened of P10,000 from the dictator’s loot
Marcos was apparently aware of the scam and had repeatedly warned the public against falling for this gold bar bonanza but apparently, a number of Filipinos do not believe him.
