Kabataan Party-list Rep. Sarah Elago believed that President Rodrigo Duterte’s trust and approval ratings will continue to slide in the remaining months 2019 due to his inefficient policies.

Duterte’s trust and approval ratings suffered significant decreases in the third quarter amid controversies involving the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) and so called “ninja cops.”

Pulse Asia’s third quarter figures showed Duterte’s trust rating dropping 11 points from 85 percent in September from 74 percent in June.

The chief executive’s approval rating slipped to 78 percent in September from 85 percent in June.

Elago stressed that Duterte economic policies barely impress the Filipino masses since prices of basic commodities remain high amidst the reported inflation slow down last month.
