Babala: Nakamamatay! Acosta insists Dengvaxia has no cure
Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) Chief Persida Acosta reminded that there is no cure for Dengvaxia if the government plans to use the still experimental vaccine to address the dengue outbreak.
“Wala antidote ang Dengvaxia, ang side effects,” she told reporters.
Apart from death, she reminded that those who received shots of Dengvaxia could suffer severe allergy, acute muscular vital organ dysfunction, neurotropism, and severe dengue disease.
“Magsasayang lang tayo ng pondo ng bayan diyan kung ibabalik yan,” she stressed.
Acosta has been advocating as well as representing the families of those who allegedly died from Dengvaxia in holding liable those behind the mass vaccination of the experimental drug.
So far, 44 complaints have been filed before the Department of Justice (DOJ) by the PAO on behalf of the families of 44 dead victims.
