Baka nagbibiro lang: Robredo turns soft on Pulong over release of fake destab plot matrix
Vice President Leni Robredo has toned down her criticism of former Davao City vice mayor Paolo Duterte after finding out that he deleted the matrix he posted about a supposed plan to destabilize the government.
Robredo on Monday (December 10) said Duterte must be joking when he posted screenshots of an “Oust Duterte Movement” matrix on his Facebook page last week.
“Baka nagbibiro lang naman iyon. Parang hindi naman seryoso,” she said in interview at the Senate following the plenary approval of the Office of the Vice President’s 2019 budget.
Robredo said Duterte’s removal of his Facebook post showed he wasn’t serious about the existence of a movement to oust his father, President Rodrigo Duterte.
The Vice President was tagged in the matrix as one of the personalities allegedly plotting to overthrow the government.
On her radio show Sunday (December 9), Robredo scoffed at the allegation she was working for Duterte’s ouster. She also called the former vice mayor “irresponsible” for sharing the matrix without verifying the information it contained.
