President Rodrigo Duterte urged the public not to believe former police senior superintendent Eduardo Acierto who accused presidential economic adviser Michael Yang of having links with the illegal drugs trade.
“huwag kayong maniwala nitong… Si — lalo na ito si Acierto. Ito nga ‘yung nag — p***** i,” Duterte said in a speech delivered in South Cotabato Tuesday evening.
The President also said he would ask the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police why the dismissed cop is still alive.
“Tanungin ko kaya ang military pati police, bakit buhay pa ‘yang p**** i**** ‘yan? He was the guy na nag-import ng AK-47. One thousand something pieces. Tapos dineliver (deliver) niya sa New People’s Army. Pulis itong g****** ‘to ha,” he added.
Duterte also called Acierto “corrupt” and accused him of kidnapping Chinese and Korean nationals.
“Alam ko siya na korap. Alam ko siya na nagki-kidnap ng mga Chinese. Pati yung Koreano na pinatay doon sa Crame, siya yun! Tang ina itong Acierto na ‘to,” he said.
